Veridas consolidates its status as a leading provider of biometric technology for the financial sector in Mexico by joining FinTech Mexico.
The FinTech Association in Mexico brings together the leading FinTech companies in the country. They offer their members and the general public an open and transparent collaborative space that allows them to empower FinTech innovation in Mexico. Through collective knowledge and industry best practices, their goal is to improve financial services in the country.
Veridas, the leading onboarding provider of the Mexican financial sector
Today, 4 of the 10 major banks in Mexico use Veridas’ biometric technology, making the company the leading onboarding provider in Mexico.
The country’s leading bank, BBVA Mexico, was the first entity to implement a solution that allows pensioners to give proof of life from their homes. A transparent and secure process that allows a person’s identity to be verified through their voice with a single phone call, at any time, place, language, and in just 3 seconds.
An innovative service that has already allowed more than 95,000 Mexican citizens to carry out this process without having to leave their homes and with a high level of security. This success story with BBVA Mexico has won awards from institutions such as Contact Center Hub or Global Finance.
In addition, Veridas has installed its biometric facial engine within the infrastructure offered by the National Electoral Institute of Mexico (INE), being one of the first technology providers to do so, thus guaranteeing its clients compliance with the requirements of the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) for the remote opening of new accounts.
FinTech Mexico, searching innovation in the financial sector
With this adhesion to FinTech Mexico, Veridas joins more than 150 members and affiliates. And becomes a member of an institution that has been fighting for more than seven years to bring innovation to the financial sector.
Among its most important actions are celebrating workshops, webinars or events, among other networking opportunities. They also have a pool of suppliers, a job bank, and the possibility for each member to share its most interesting content with the rest.
